What would The United States do without America?
If the continent changed name from "America" into "Azteca", The United States Of America would still be The United States Of America.
The Aztecan continent has a country named America.
The United States Of Azteca!
Are you sure about that?
Of course.
The United States Of America is a name, not a terminology that belongs to America.
The terminology United Kingdom is in reference to its countries.

America is only a nickname acquired by the common people who couldn't understand that there was more to the land of America than just the British colonies! They might have been peasants and unlearned persons who could not fathom the idea that the continent was larger than just the north east of it where they landed. People who continued on with this stupid notion that they were the only ones in the continent, continue calling the U.S. as America not realizing that the continent first owned that name by hundredths of years before puritans came to the shores of North of America.
Canada is in North-America but not in America.
North America and Central America and South America is America.
North America is part of America
Central America is part of America
South America is part of America
The United States is part of America
And the USA is also called America.
It is part of America. It is in America. And it is America.
America of The United States, not the continent.
America is NOT of the United States. It is actually the opposite …
United States OF America (correctly meaning a country called “United States” that is OF 1 (or 2) continent(s) named America)!
Overall, America is NOT the name of a country and United States is NOT the name of a continent!
The United States Of America
It is made in America.
Who cares you thought otherwise?.
In America it is made.
The United States Of America
sorry, it does matter how you spell a name.
The United States Of America
Then why do you continue to mistakenly capitalize the ‘of’?
because it matters the way you spell the name of a country. I do not care that you do not like it, you do not have to like it.
The United States Of America
You are actually right, for once, that it doesn’t matter at all if I like it or don’t like it.
What matters is that you are incorrect. The ‘of’ is not capitalized. That’s a fact. Get educated.
If England is a country of the United Kingdom (of Europe), why wouldn't New Jersey be a country of The United States (of America)?.
The United Kingdomn is a terminology just like The United States is another terminology for a certain group with conjoined agreements.
The United Kingdom of America
I agree. That's why you don't say United Kingdomian or United Statian neither because they are common names.
Using common names is Okay for anyone.
Those terms could be used as follows:
1. African United Kingdom
2. United States of Africa
3. African United States
4. United Kingdom of Africa
They could be used as such but in Africa they usually don't speak English.
They are probably using those terms in their own language.
Once again, every language is a whole different world.
Oh, but if you want to compare apples to apples, we don't call the UK, Europe! Because Europe is the continent in which the UK is, so the same, we shouldn't call the U.S., "America", because America is the continent in which the U.S. are.
More correct and incorrect uses of the term “America.”
Incorrect: “Made in America.”
Yanks do not want things to be made in America. They want things to be made in the US, as they’ve made rudely clear in recent trade negotiations.
Correct: “Made in America.”
It’s correct because in this context ‘America’ refers to the USA.
America refers to two continents that yanks want to close their borders to.
That is why they elected Trump, and why they will likely elect him again this year.
Nothing exported to Latin America has the label: Made in America, nothing! Every export is very well labeled with the U.S. or USA. Hecho en los Estados Unidos. Look into that fact!
It is also a fact that many products made in the USA say ‘Made in America’ when sold in the USA. Each country determines how imports to their country are labeled, and official names are used. This is why ‘Made in America’ will not appear on imports to other countries. As we all know, ‘America’ is recognized all over the world as one of the unofficial names of the USA. The fact that it isn’t the country’s official name DOES NOT prove otherwise. Think, payasa.

We know what the official name of the country is. And we know what its unofficial names are.
